Hi, my name’s Egan McClave - I’m passionate about data & analytics, fitness and gaming

I spent four years at Carnegie Mellon University earning a Bachelor’s in Math with a concentration in Operations Research and Statistics. I decided to continue my education at CMU in the Masters of Statistical Practice program to learn more about statistics given the growing complexity in data science.

I’ve completed various projects using predictive modeling, anomaly detection and optimization algorithms which have applicability in many areas such as demand forecasting, risk modeling and management, and business process optimization. Through these projects I’ve gained extensive experience in programming, scripting, and utilizing statistical packages to build creative solutions for abstract data science problems.
